handy WO man

today,  screeetch, boom, smoke.
I vacuumed over
a piece of metal because i
thought it was just a leaf.

Yesterday, our brand
new (used) washer broke
which we went all the way to
salt-lake to get and paid moolah
for.

I can chose to be mad...but
i chose differently.

1. solution to the vacuum
being broken. i hit it,
then i yelled at it, (just kidding
i didn't) but i decided not to wait
for ryan to get home and fix it
so i got my screw drivers out
and all my tools and instructions (which
i didn't use). And I twisted, and unscrewed
and snapped off, and finally! the metal piece, I saw
it, it was right next to the fan-like motor in it.
I thanked Heavenly Father for helping me.

2. solution to the washer being broken.
um...wash clothes in someone Else's washer.....
not very convenient. but hey, at least someone is
willing to share.

i am blessed...even though my washer broke
and i had temporary dysfunction with my vacuum.

day

today we burned weeds in our garden.
there was a lot. but something
very unfortunate happened to me.
i singed my eyelashes. yes, they are now
shorter than before. oh well, there is
no reason to cry about it...cuz they ain't
growin' back.

today, although the sun was
beckoning us to arise, we stayed
in bed and just...talked.
i love those mornings. :)

this weekend, we house and dog sit
for a couple in our ward. i love it because
they have better and a more variety of
food in their cupboards.....shhhhh!!!!
;) (hey, they said we could....)

love

love
it is my favorite.

my honest thoughts

school, i know that you are important.
but i am sick of you.
i am sick of having a to do list
in the back of my mind that i
am obligated to do!
so, i can't wait to be done with you.
in the mean time, i will dream...

i am going to write many books on
the stages of my life.
yeah, i will graduate with my english
and writing degree in the winter 2012 or
the spring 2013, but that won't be a determining
factor of whether i finish or not.
i am going to make a difference through my
writing and i am going to write my life story
so that people who struggled like me, can know
that we can be healed through Christ.

and i will make lots of money.
and i will be the best stay at home mom.
and...oh oh oh...how my baby girl is kicking right now.
i am guessing she wants to say hi.

so, a little bit about me...
i sing to her every day. i sit down on the
couch and sing to her as i rub my growing
belly.

i crave orange juice. but we don't have any.
:(

GOOD NEWS: i got a new washer! yeah...now i
don't have to wash them at someone else's house!

i have the most handsome man sitting across the room
from me right now. should i get up and give him a kiss?
should i just sit here and hope he comes and sits me first?
should i wait until he wraps his arms around me first before i tell
him i am madly in love with him? well, he looks busy in thought, so
maybe i will wait a bit longer.

today is the first day of spring. and all the snow
melted. yeah!!!!!!

i just want to...eat....eat....eat....i know
that i am pregnant and have every right and excuse
to eat a lot. but in the back of my mind, i know that i shouldn't
eat too much of the junk stuff because...well um...ya...
i will admit it...i dont wanna be fat!!!!!!!! :( :(

well, i don't want to end my post like that...so,
i am gonna end it in a pep talk.

PEP TALK: bree,
you are amazing because....
1. you accomplished a quilt
for the humanitarian center.
2. you keep the house clean
3. you are happy despite crazy
hormonal stuff
4. you are carrying another spirit
and are sacrificing your body to
changes that you have finally
accepted as beautiful
5. you are finally back on track
with your scripture study
6. you remind yourself that
you are beautiful even on days
when you normally would tell
yourself otherwise
7. you have dreams and fight for them
8. you simply have a compatable personality
9. you have many talents
10. and you give yourself pep talks. :)

so many things

tonight we are off to a jazz concert
i love it when homework gives you
an excuse to spend money.

she kicks lots and lots.

homemade bread, i think i
made the best homemade wheat
bread ever invented. :)

someday i want a bosch.

marks: they are just a sign the beauty
of motherhood

i am excited, in a few days, i see a
person whom i love and have not
seen in a long long time.

washer: why, why did you have to break on me?

laundry: i love hanging my clothes on a line outside to dry.

funnest night of my life- 7 month anniversary

baby names....there are so many cute ones...
which one to choose? well, we will have to
see when she is in mommy's arms

ryan killed the first fly in our house this year, yesterday.

slowdown, that is what i need to do so i can enjoy the moments
now because they are not here forever.

it's okay if you don't always wear makeup.
it's okay if you wake up with messy hair
it's okay if you don't have the model body
it's okay if you have a zit or two
it's okay if you haven't plucked in a while
it's okay if you don't have pearly whites
it's okay because he still finds ways
to make you feel beautiful. he still, somehow
loves you for what you do have. and even if you
don't have that certain beauty characteristic,
there are many about you that you do have
that make you uniquely beautiful....and he sees
all of those.

excitement: comes when you are simply ecstatic.
pink shoes, lacy dresses, hair bows, little hands,
tiny toes.

and....one more thing.
dont forget that when life knocks you on your knees, you are in perfect position to pray.

no he's never gonna leave
so dont you worry about me

he is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
no he's never gonna leave
so dont worry about me

storms

baby

baby banana is a girl. :)
she moves a lot in the mornings,
like she is stretching or trying
to wake up her mommy.
she wiggles a lot when I talk
like she is listening to my
every word. She is so
precious even though I have only
seen her black and white and felt
her tiny feet kick me. for now,
we will call her baby girl.

if it's a girl

a call

one simple call
that is all,
it takes for me to smile.
call someone you haven't heard from in a while.
And you too might make them smile.

chores

dirty dishes.
homework.
unvacuumed floor.
laundry.
dusting.
homework.
uncleaned bathroom.
uncleaned kitchen.
homework.
THEN...
a moment came that made me smile.
the tiny peanut that i have been carying
is probably almost the size of a banana now.
so, we will call him/her banana.
banana moved, and mommy felt it.
:)
